But is it good enough to sway me from an Omega Seamaster 300 heritage? Let's find out.

This watch looks gorgeous. Whenever I see it on a watch channel I am tempted to buy one. The only reason I don’t, is the old radium style lume that is never as bright as undyed lume. But one day. . . after a couple of beers. . . I am sure I will do it. 🕐⚙️🍸

That's exactly what happened to me! They market it so well. Not a fan of the lume. Bgw9 all the way for me. All I would say is the price/ value proposition is there

Aquascape is a truly beautiful watch. I love mine on a matching blue leather strap. Your striped NATO also looks great. During the day, it looks like a small watch, but at night, the lumed bezel makes it look large!

Quite an appealing watch IMO. I like the retro style (w/o vintage problems), and that beads of rice bracelet looks good to me. The easy removal & installation of the bracelet is a great thing for sure. I know some would prefer an acrylic crystal and it would be nice to see it offered as an option (even better: include a backup crystal to allay fears). Personally I think sapphire is the compromise that works for me - sacrificing a little of that retro charm for durability. Of course, one can argue that acrylic crystals are _safer_ but personally I've never broken a sapphire crystal. I did read one account from a police officer who wore his Bulova Lunar Pilot on duty for years, and he said he never cracked the (top hat sapphire) crystal. So if he didn't break a crystal, I feel it's something I can practically ignore. Anyway enough of my babble. new sub btw 👍

Thanks! Think that's summed up well. I have nothing to fear from acrylic crystals. I'm not hard wearing and they're under a cuff much of the time

I've had mine for close to three years now. My only regret is that I bougth it on the rubber, and in hindsight I should have bought the bracelet and strap. The lume is ok, but perfectly fine for a couple of hours.

I do think the rubber looks particularly smart and contrasts the dial. I did wonder whether I should have just saved the money and not bother with the bracelet. Interesting to get your view

I can´t live with an inaccurate mechanical movement and the servicing costs. To me a watch has to tell the time perfectly and be reliable.

The point is finding the same wrist presence for less, therefore ending the search for, say, the Omega. Not sure about always getting what you pay for really.
