I’ve got the same amperage alt 110s are not bad.. Maybe it’s cause my car is newer... but I’ve had no issues with Korean 2ks haven’t put a 3k on... I also doubt I’m clamping 2k rms as well but damn it sure bangs without the ho alternator... getting one soon tho

Got the same setup basically but a Banda bass 12k that makes rated power at .5 I'm running it at 1. 250 alt and 48ah headway and I'm always above 13 even parked. It's loud but Im about to order 2 more run the amp at .5 and build a 6th. I don't use my back seat anyways lol

Enclosure is the most important part to execute what the subs are capable of. Anything can be musical in the right enclosure

what Jamie said is correct, but the BOX is the most important aspect. A single 18 will be louder then a Single 15 if the same brand/level and same power in the right size optimal box because of cone area, so 18 > 15 if you have the space realistically .

I dont understand how that AeroPort is so short. Ive built a couple boxes. My 2 12 box is 4.8 cubes n needs like 22" long 8" big ass port to be at 32hz and i have a single 18 box 5.25 cubes tuned to 28 and the 8" port is 24" if i remember right. The bigger the port the longer it gets. This guy has 2 18s and it looks like a 10" port thats 6 to 8 inches long. I see this a lot. Id expect it to be longer

john jones true B/ BB Baltic birch comes In 5x5 or 5 x 10 ...think there is some Russian birch that is of good quality that may come In the measurement u said.. if it’s from Home Depot it’s not real birch .. I got 2 5 x 5s B/BB ( highest quality) for around $88. I’m in GA

@@uptobatentertainment Like I said it was special ordered through Manards. It was in metric (roughly 4'x8') 18 ply Baltic Birch with no imperfections. Was shipped in plastic with Russian writing. Had 1/2"x4'x8' chipboard under & over it with 2 - 2x4's on top of that & banded to a 4'x8' skid. Still got the invoice.

@@catherineharris4746 if he had 16 cubes of air space and that port had to be 14-15” the port length would have to be 20” long to be tuned in the low 30’s. That port only looked to be 12” long

@@catherineharris4746 rule of thumb is you want 15-16 square inches of port area per cubic foot. Round ports are the most efficient and will sound the best. But the bigger the port area, the longer the port length will have to be to achieve a particular tune.
