This video is the second part of altit and baltit fort. In this video we knows about the baltit fort.Baltit Fort is located in Karimabad and was once the capital of Hunza state. Till 1945, this fort was used by the Emir of Hunza, but later it became empty when he took up residence in a beautiful palace made of granite stone in Karimabad. To reach this fort you have to travel uphill from the famous market of Karimabad which takes you to Baltat Fort. The structure of this fort, located on a high stone peak, resembles Tibetan architecture, similar to the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. According to local historians. This fort was chosen by King Raja Abdal for his daughter and built as her dowry by the princess's in-laws. so lets explore the baltit fort
