@@PGEntertainment2011 but I think there were a lot of stuff to consider, for example the wear and tear on his body and what he needed to take in, and also to be so humble and not be recognized as someone at the time. My take on it here is quick on the fly, but if we sat down and actually found out every detail, I believe that it'd be almost impossible to think it is simply a drug overdose off the deep end.

Bam Bam was under appreciated, not just in-ring but willingness to put over faces for the business. Beating jobbers does nothing. Beating a tattoo headed 🔥 monster means something.

Yup, thanks for that. From The Sun Sentinel: In 2000, Bigelow became a hero when he charged inside a burning building to rescue three children. Bigelow suffered severe burns and spent two months in the hospital but returned to wrestle later that year.

This guy could do cartwheels. At his 350 plus pounds!. I remember him im a match with the 123 Kid, kept up with him throughout it. He made the kid look good. No other big man could do it. Liked his costume and look too.

Bam Bam was a guy who understood he was there as an entertainer and he didn't put ego ahead of making the fans happy and invested. He should be held up as an icon in the business today.

I really respect Bam-Bam. He's been an iconic wrestler to me personally since the 80's. These interviews totally solidify that respect that I have for him. Definitely an underrated, under appreciated athlete. And one HELL of a wrestler for his size. He was something else, truly.

Glad this footage is around. Bam Bam did a great in ring persona, most people watching this for first time realize how nice and real of a person he was. Sucks addiction got a hold of him, but that’s what happens when u routinely destroy your body for the show, the money, and the life.

Bam Bam was essentially the first Mick Foley. Put every single guy over that he needed to put over. He was so good that he put guys over when he beat them. The best wrestler to never be a WCW or WWE/F world champion.

Scott was awesome, i was far too young to appreciate him. Looking back as an adult he should be considered one of the best big fellas ever, had an incredibly deep moveset for someone 350-400lb and you'd be hard pressed to find a guy his weight who was as nimble except a younger Big Show and Vader. I'd put him in the HOF personally.

If I could be a wrestler, I'd never want to get bigger then the mid-card. I'd rather have a good reputation, and a couple of good runs as a tag team champion or U.S./IC champion. Once you've been world champion it's hard to go back.

Brody did a somewhat "shoot" before his death, late 87 or early 88. Eddie Gilbert also did one before he passed, circa 94-95.
