I’ve got the same one and it works great! I’ve found that if you hold it at an angle like your doing in the video it welds better to the metal.

Tried my hand at welding for the first time yesterday. Flux core of course. Cut a slot in the bottom of a metal 5 gallon bucket with an 1/8" cut off wheel and welded it back up. I can see lots of light when I hold it up to the sun but I'm gonna try some more today It's fun but grinding scares the crap out of me. Might just pound it down and put fiberglass over it so the grinding doesn't make the metal thin. Thank you Billy.

The vevor is similar to what snap on has had out for a very long time. However I prefer the dent fix maxi system, has different length pull rods for a weighted slide hammer and leverage bar, etc. I've been rockin the maxi for almost 2 decades now. Extremely fast
@OldBondoBilly2 ай бұрын
I bought the Snap on unit in 2000, and it was pretty good, but the Vevor is more refined. Probably updated tech and my insistence to clamp the ground solid with vise grips. I’ve used the Maxi and it is great; but WAAAY too expensive for DIYers
