"Break dancing." That's a great description of a fish when it gets dragged onto the beach.

It's funny that when you can see them or see one chase one you've hooked that becomes the focus. We all want to catch the biggest we can, but those are bigger than normal for the area that you're actually catching. If you didn't see the big ones it would be the greatest blue fish day ever. And maybe it is. Not going to say you're disappointed, been watching you long enough to know you better than that; always with a positive attitude. Thanks for the video

Hey Beach Bum, I haven't seen bluefish that size in that area since I got into them on Seacrest Beach back in late August 2021. They were massive for the gulf coast and were so acrobatic that they reminded me of a saltwater smallmouth. I caught all of them on a 2 oz. spoon. Another great video! I always enjoy your content!!

Nothing like sight casting from the sand. Up north here, the water is rarely clear enough to do it, but every once in a while.

Hi there Matthew! I haven't fished in many years but watching you makes me want to. When you are surf fishing you often let us know that you see fish in the surf. Is it possible for you to use a go pro mount that puts the camera at your eye level? I would love to see what you see. Thanks for sharing your angling experiwith all of us.

Can you please tell me what brand of rod & reel are you using in this particular video? I don't currently own any long beach fishing rods, but noticed that you just had the one you were using. I looked for it in the description, but didn't see it listed. Appreciate what you do brother! TO GOD BE THE GLORY !!!

What a beautiful beach. Thinking I need to relocate. Since the Government closed that beach did you have to have permission to fish on the beach or are people allowed to be on that section of beach? I’m simply just curious. It absolutely AMAZES me that you are able to see ( all the way from the shore) what kind of fish are out there?

They have closed access to it. You can still legally get there, it’s just a LONGGGG walk. Some people have still been trying to park close, but probably will be getting tickets or booted.

You seem to regard the fish you catch with less respect than you used to. The least you can do is place them back in the water rather than pitch them.
@b00yahh4 ай бұрын
Blue Fish are a very hardy fish. They're the pitbulls of the ocean. His method of release was fine for that species. I don't think they would have it any other way. Maybe you didn't notice how they sped off after release, no lag, no wait. i have literally caught the same fish more than once in the same session on multiple occasions. They're not trout, they're beasts and live to eat. They are also a decent eating fish if you know how to properly prepare them.
@mycomagic4 ай бұрын
@@b00yahh You seem to justify tossing the fish back into the sea because it is hardy. I, however, was saying that it shows a lack of respect for the life of the fish - even though it is hardy. We'll just have to agree to disagree.
