Hi from OH! Just came across your video for first time. I loved your video!, and enjoyed how kind you act to others. I venture any chance I can to fish. Salt fishing is always my fav. My Dad took me flounder fishing at Assateague Is. back in the 70s when I was little. It is in my soul. Thank you for an amazing informational video, and keeping me inspired to plan that trip back south to drop my rig into the beautiful salt water in hopes for a Flounder! God bless your future endeavors ❤

I grew up in St Pete FL and made fish sandwiches all the time ( mostly sheepshead, Grouper caught under the Skyway, and Whiting). After I left the Army of 7 yrs, I now live in MO and do a lot of Crappie fishing and make sandwiches from them….absolutely delicious. Thank you for your Service and Thank You for your videos, they remind me of home as my old home was right on the water too.

Hey Steve can you go Redfish fishing? And give us some lures for redfish?
@timallaire1 Жыл бұрын
From someone that been catching jacks off the pier for almost 50 years, wait until they get on the west side of the pier before casting since a hooked jack will usually run west (under the pier) with the rest of the school and reel your lure across the top of the water as fast as you can to get their attention. You can't reel it fast enough to reel it away from them and a 6 inch plug with the lip filed off reeled as fast as you can across the top of the water usually works best. If you work a cobia jig like you would for cobia usually they're not interested in that.

Another great video. I love catching flounder, but I find it very hard. I had one on my line a few months ago over 20" and it popped the line while I was trying to get the landing net. I was on the pier and it was splashing around on the surface. It would've been my PB if I landed it. 😔
