I bought the X1C as my first printer last year. If I had the choice I’d love to have the A1 as it being an open design would make maintenance so much easier. Either way though love seeing others enjoy 3D printing.

p1p is a nice open option also makes it easy to see whats going on and to access the parts to clean and maintain too

I have the AMS installed but I can't put out the PTFE tubes from the head of the printer to print on a single mode. Any tip? Because I followed the tutorial from Bambulab and it didn't work for me and it was to hard to put out.
@Kenprints11 ай бұрын
its hard to get them to release but if you push the tube in as you push down the black clip it generally works for me

For anyone reading this comment and still having this issue (haven't tested but I will do it soon), this guy prints a tool to help with that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZmGqYZidd9GGh68

Which filament brand is this? Also is it on preset Bambu profile or you tweaked it?
@Kenprints Жыл бұрын
just a cheap roll of iemai petg off of amazon and used the stock generic petg cf profile and it worked fine no tweaking

@Kenprints sorry if this question was already asked earlier in the comments! i was wondering if you printed the material with or without the ams lite. asked support and they said that it wasn't recommended with the ams lite because of hardness of the material. Thanks in advance!

havent used it thru the ams light but have ran it thru the regular ams on my p1s machines and no issues

I just ordered my A1 and I am very excited! It's my first printer. I'm going to begin learning with PLA BASIC and PLA MATTE, then after i learn the ropes i want to try PETG-CF. that seems like the best looking and also strongest filament and easy to use on open print beds. But i think I'll need to invest in a good filament dryer if using PETG and TPU (the other filament I'm wanting to try). Great video! 👍
@Kenprints Жыл бұрын
ive a drier but i go thru filament quite quickly so dont have much issues with damp filament
@hd-be7di Жыл бұрын
You can also convert a food dehydrator into a filament dryer!

Just got mine about a week ago as my first printer, its super easy to set up & get going, even with petg have 0 complaints so far, other than i ran out of filament lmao

@@Kenprints I'm in extremely humid swamps of Louisiana. I'm looking at the eibos cyclops dryer or the fixdry nt1. Both are dual roll dryers with recirculating fan and go up to 70c. I might buy some vacuum or simple ziplock bags for storage too.
@Kenprints Жыл бұрын
yea ur gonna really need a decent drier so

Did you need a hardened nozzle for CF? Also have you tried nylon now that we know it goes to 100?
@Kenprints Жыл бұрын
tried nylon earlier but my filament was damp and popping - i think the cooling wasnt sufficient will try again later when the filament is dry
@barrygregg3476 Жыл бұрын
Would really like to know about the nylon. I am debating the A1, and if it can print nylon I'm def getting it.@@Kenprints

Has a bearing gone in the gantry or do they just sound like that? On big moves it sounds like somethings grinding?

bearing shouldnt be gone its only a week old but yes it does sound a little noisey for a new bearing but i think thats normal for them
