First, where do you live? It depends on what species you can breed. Bisetti is very easy to grow, but needs plenty of sun and fertilization. If you want to have really big bamboos, think about vivax or shanghai 3. If you live in climate zone 7-10, plant edulis.

@@KapralFlashback Im norwegian and they dont haev vivax but ive got my luky hands on japanes timber or somthing but i live in the least cold vinter part of norway where it is rear to ssee temps go below -10 like rely rare sorry for my typing im a bit tierd today.

@@watzegjemedaarnouvan Japanese timber bamboo wow, I would also like to get a seedling :) I would advise you to buy sectabilis and aureocaulis in addition to bisetti. They do best here, that is, in Poland. For the first 2-3 seasons, it is worth covering the seedlings with agrotextile. When the clump is bigger, it will cover itself. In winter, the greatest threat to bamboos is cold gusty winds, not the low temperature itself. It's hard for me to advise you on growing bamboo in Norway because even here bamboo of the same species can achieve different variations depending on the position, soil, etc., not to mention the region of the country. Ask your local breeders for advice, their experience in this area may be different than mine. And one more thing, how much space do you want to give to the bamboo?

@@watzegjemedaarnouvan What is $100 worth? Spectabilis? Bisetti grows faster, is more expansive, but spectabilis and aureocalis are a little taller. Spectabilis is yellow with a green stripe, you can see it in my other videos, it's prettier in my opinion.
