Banana Pudding Cake (Meal Prep Sunday )

Hey Family! Thanks for watching!!
Here you are family. The highly requested Banana Pudding Cake! If you love Banana Pudding, then you'll love this recipe! It can be made into a poke cake as well.
Banana Pudding Cake
2-3 cups of heavy whipping cream (optional..you can use cool whip)
2 sticks of room temp butter
1 3/4 cups of sugar
3 large eggs at room temp
2 large egg whites at room temp
3 1/2 tsp baking powder
3 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups of milk
1 family size box of banana cream pudding mix
1 family size box of vanilla pudding mix
1 cup of whipped cream or cool whip
1 1/4 cup of milk
2-4 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
2-4 tbsp milk
2-4 tbsp powdered sugar
4 tsp vanilla extract
2-3 bananas
1 box or bag of Nilla Wafers
To make whipped cream frosting
PLACE LARGE MIXING BOWL AND WISK ATTACHMENT IN THE FREEZER FOR AT LEAST 15 MINUTES
1. Pour 2-4 cups heavy whipping cream into cold mixing bowl.
2. Add powdered sugar, 1tsp vanilla extract and 2 tbs of vanilla pudding mix to heavy whipping cream.
3. Wisk together for at least 5 minutes or until it forms stiff peaks.
4. Place in freezer or refrigerate until needed.
To make the cake
PREHEAT YOUR OVEN TO 350F.
1. Cream together the butter and sugar.
2. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
3. Beat in the egg whites.
4. Add in 3 tsp of vanilla.
5. In a separate bowl, wisk together the dry ingredients ( flour, baking powder and banana pudding mix).
6. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.
7. Add in 1 1/2 cups of milk.
8. Divide the batter as evenly as possible into three greased( sprayed with bakers joy if you have it on hand) 8" round cake pans. Bake at 350F for at least 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserted.
Sit aside and allow to cool on wire racks.
To make the filling and wet mixture
Wisk together 1 cup of the whipped cream frosting you made earlier, or 1 cup of cool whip, 1 1/4 cups of milk and 1 family size box of vanilla pudding. Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes or until you're ready to assemble the cake.
To make the wet mixture, mix together 2-4 tbsp sweetened condensed milk and 2-4 tbsp milk (equal parts ratio) until well combined. Refrigerate until ready to use.
SLICE THE BANANAS AND SOAK IN LEMON JUICE AND WATER FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES TO PREVENT EARLY BROWNING. (USE 1/2 CUP LEMON JUICE TO 1 CUP WATER)
Now to assemble the cake
1. Brush the wet mixture over the top of the cake layer.
2. Top with banana slices
3. Spread a good bit of the filling on top of the bananas and spread as evenly as possible.
4. Repeat steps 1-3.
5. Flip the final layer of cake so that the bottom is now the top.
6. Take your homemade whipped frosting or cool whip and frost the entire cake.
7. Take some of the Nilla Wafers and apply to the cake using your creative mind :-)
8. Enjoy!!!

I have made it 3 times since watching this and making another tomorrow with Malibu tropical banana rum. I made cupcakes mixed the pudding, crumbled cookies and mashed bananas and filled the centers topped with banana whipped cream and a mini nilla. It was a HIT!!!! Thanks for sharing👍🏾👍🏾

I first saw this video and 2 am. It didn't take me long to realize ya'll know how to through down. Once you said heavy whipping cream instead of cool whip I knew that I was supposed to be up viewing and subscribing to your channel. I was so grateful that Easter was fast approaching and I would have a chance to cook this. I chose this over the lemon blueberry despite the fact that you sliced the lemon blueberry.
