I really like how you lay out all the ingredients and the tools. I also like how you talk about mixer speeds, mixer times and not over cooking the custard. You're a very good teacher! You answered ALL my questions and then some! You obviously have some commercial baking experience. I've never heard of cake batter or butter extract or putting gelatin in your whipped cream. I feel like I've gotten some real inside industry secrets . Baking intel!!! YAY!

@@terriewilliams8831 Yeah sometime it can be a bit of work but it's worth it when you bite into it. You can also make the cake part a day in advance so you don't have to do everything all in one day.

my grandma made the best banana pudding ever. We all asked for the recipe she would never give it to me or anyone else. I thought it must be a family recipe passed down. So after years of asking she shocked all of us me and my aunts that it was actually just the recipe on the box. LOL. She passed away in 2020 and we all laugh over that today.

I can't... I mean I just CAN'T! This isy husbands, Mother-in-law, Daughter's Nurse, BF's and my favorite dessert in just it's regular form. I have not been this excited about making a cake much less dessert in months... In it's normal form, I love making it because of it's simplicity.
