That "Bone in Her Teeth" looked fantastic. I remember that back in the early 1960s, building the LINDBERG 'Blue Devil' Fletcher Class model. I took it to a small Florida pond. A group of visitors came out to watch her first voyage. A man asked where the miniature crew was. I told him there was no crew and the ship was a dialect. We all laughed at that one.

@outlet6989 my Lindberg I built 2 did dazzle camo on it damm thing took off I cloudnt tell stem from stern last I saw of her she was headed out to sea full speed How I wish I didn't paint it dazzle sat very low in the water had. Double rudders I think the first few flechters has twinn rudders I remember going nuts trying to Find out most info shows only one!

US should take the old Plans of this boat and build this with updated electronics, radars, ect but keep it within budget, and same visual type design. The rebuild may not compare fully with the modern destroyer ships, but there could be a major use for this redesign.

You have the 26 foot motor whale boats backwards in their davits. their rudders face the stern of the destroyer. also while the Destroyer is underway they are swung out over the side of the ship in case they are needed.
