Agree, David Bowie is awesome and very missed. Bono's vocal are powerful and send chills as well. Very powerful singers. I love watching Duran Duran's John Taylor pulling on Andy Taylor's hat near the end of this video. John always liked to joke around. In the video Rio, John pushed Andy off the sailboat. Luckily Andy swam enough to survive that! Those two are like brothers, yet none of the Taylors in Duran Duran are related.

@@stephaniebaker2960 I agree with Bono, we need reality and reality isn't pretty. We must face the truth and how harsh it is. Just like abortion, which is unneccesary and brutal. Bono singlehandedly gave this song urgency with his line, and made me think of it as a serious matter instead of an average pop song! Bono delivered the key to make people not be so selfish and consider other's lives. It's the message this song was created for, to make people think and be aware. The same can be said of abortion, be considerate; that's someone's life.

Simply wonderful. Some dearly departed, some we are still blessed with hearing their voices. What an era and I’m lucky to have lived during this time.

It's amazing how this song is now 30 Years old and I still get chills. Sadly how much has Africa or the World changed even with all of the money raised for a noble cause. Merry Christmas to the World regardless of religion.

The soul of this song gives me goosebumps. This is the most powerful song ever recorded. It paved the way for live aid, and if you know how big it was, you will surely agree. It has not been duplicated even to this day. Happy christmas to all 🎉♥️👍

This is one of my all time favorite Christmas songs. I was 16 in 1984 and I remember the day this premiered on MTV. It was such a moving song and still is to this day, in Nov. of 2017. I still get teary listening to it.

The verison we all needed, As year by year goes, this track will always remain as one of the most legendary Christmas tracks ever created, and what a legacy it has! As literally there's one month left till Christmas, no better time to play it than now, one of the very few tracks that'll never get old, no matter how many times you play it, and still hits the heart, and the same since its release. Amazing how many iconic legends we have collaborating for this iconic hit. Phil Collins with his legendary passionate drumming skills, George Micheal, Sting, Boy George, Bob Geldolf, and many more! Sad to see that we're slowly losing them one by one, but lets all be grateful. All the best, hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, Feliz Natal, and Happy Holidays! 🎄☃🎁👋
