Aside from the incredible music and playing, the way Miku and Saiki have shorten and twisted her lyrics to fit Kanami's writing is pure genius. The cadence, syncopation and soulful expression, like in Choose Me, is rare and kinda old-school-rock exceptional. It feels a bit like scat and fits perfectly to the vibe of the music - one reason why some of us don't care if we can't understand most the lyrics. Thx, Guitarist!

They'll keep surprising you with tasty song details. I REALLY recommend their studio MV 'Dice' as the most infectious great song...packed with nice guitar production. Great Live too...where the bass dominates the sound and lead guitar can sit back. But, when you have a melodic bass animal like MISA...you gotta let her run fcuking wild...she goes barefoot and crazy 👊🔥

They do a fair amount of drop D probably so Miku can play easier bar chords while singing. Miku only started playing guitar when the band started. Now she can play a lot more stuff

The key of this song is probably D minor. But since it contains an A major chord, which is not a diatonic chord, C# and C of A minor chord coexist, so the guitar solo part seems to be a melodic minor scale that changes the scale (6th 7th) when ascending and descending.

Yeah, it seems people were really irritated by the comments from that guy who says he has played music for 35 years 😂 I personally did not have any problems with his comments, I think he just could not express himself clearly. And then people started to criticize him harshly, he got offended, and it became even worse. To be honest, I think the Maidiacs should be more magnanimous towards the reactors. They have the right to say what they want. He loved DOMINATION, he did not like Choose me. That's normal 🤷‍♂

He said he didn’t like the song but, oddly, made some sweeping statements that impugned the talent of the entire band. I think that’s what got people upset. I don’t think he can even believe that since it’s the same group that plays Domination, so it’s odd that he said it.
