Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 The Christmas Online concert was the final event that forced me, a big BABYMETAL fan, to fall into Pigeonhole. Especially this acoustic Manners was a crushing blow to me on the verge of falling 😄 (Now I am busy to commute between Foxhole and Pigeonhole.) The chord progression of the acoustic one is totally different from the original one. It sounds much brighter and soothing to me, but does not impair any depth of the song. Kanami is a genius and Saiki expressed the difference of flavor well understanding the rearrangement by Kanami. They are great!

A great song ! I had never seen the acoustic version before, and it is amazing. Saiki has one of best voices in rock, period. Her voice is beautifully melodic yet she can bring on the power with that sultry growly quality she possesses. While I’m surprised it was only Kanami on guitar, she pulled it off very nicely.

This just Reinforces the point that in studio recordings when we hear backing vocals layered in,that it's not just possibly Miku-po OR Sai-chan,but It may be Mincho and A-Chan too...🎤❣️

And MISA as well. I can't find the translation but there was a brief 2 sentences in a commentary track where Miku and Akane both said that ALL of the Ladies sing for the backing tracks. It MIGHT have been the Acoustic commentary, the gist I remember was Akane said she had called MISA because she was nervous about singing while playing her drums versus just singing for the backing track. Then Miku chimed in about how MISA didn't have a problem singing on the tracks. -- DO NOT TAKE THIS AS GOSPEL. I can't find the translation on my computer. I'm probably going to have to re-save them from the subreddit again. I'm just going off my possibly faulty memory of a translation I read back in February or March.

You're right. It's even sure that they all sing together to make the choir at the end of the song. This is the symbolism of the song. As when they intertwine their fingers very aesthetically.

Yes, Masters and Princesses are how they refer to the male and female fans. Not sure if you caught it, but in the outro you can hear Miku shout "Masters and Princess!" in the background vocals. And the studio version is straight up classic rock blues groove. The acoustic version is.......country?????🙃

To me, it was amazing that they did a great version of this with just one acoustic guitar, given that the Day of Maid version was so rhythm section-heavy (Akane and Misa doing that intro). Of course, we should expect that sort of thing from Band Maid, still keeps surprising me. Great reaction, thanks!

Lurking beneath is one of MISA's sickest busiest basslines...her favourite if I'm not mistaken. I'll never for get the MV release :-) Saiki did great on the guitar solo!! ;-)

Great that you're doing these doubles, it clearly shows just how talented the ladies are and just how really great Saiki's voice is now. Over the years she's just gotten better and better and has more control and accuracy and thank god they leave her voice raw and don't "touch up" her voice and drain the life out of it.

Mate! The typhoon has gone away too fast and we are back under a scorching sun! Well done again and a good use of some "prohibited" (who the f..k cares, anyway?)! LOL It needs a lot of courage, talent and determination to produce such an acoustic rendition of a very fast-paced rock song! Saiki put some critics back into their holes with such a commending solo singing. Kanami is Kanami, and she knows too well when and when not to come up with one of her destroying solos! LOL She can sing, too. Actually, quite a few people forget that they all, Misa including, but they are too clever to crowds songs that are already overwhelming! Love these 5 phenomenally talented beautiful musicians and women. One of the best rock/hard rock groups. To come along easily in 3-4 d decades. Anywhere on the planet male or female. But the Band Maid Kool Aid drinkers can get nauseating. And quite embarrassing in some of these comments. By mostly it seems too many middle aged fanboys. So now they're better and more talented then Lennon and McCartney/Beatles ? Why do I suspect if these were 5 / 6'2" 240lb tattooed guys from Germany. Instead of these classy beautiful women from Japan. The over the top comments by again, most of these middle-aged fanboys. Wouldn't be what we hear about this group everyday ? I'm a fan, hopefully going to see them possibly in the end of October. But the slobbering over this group has got to chill out a bit. It's getting hilarious and disingenuous at best !

@@2genreactions No there's being a fan, which I consider myself to be. And no I'm not looking for brownie points that many seem to be looking for on You Tube. Talking about how they bought all their albums ( obviously what we used to call them back in the day ) in one shot. Or own all the latest merchandise. And there's those that are saying they're more talented then the Beatles. As well as being the greatest band ever created. I think I've complimented them more than generously. Because they deserve to be complimented on the things I complimented them on. But this over the top like I said before, Kool Aid drinkers who follow the group. Who seem to salivate at the mere mention of their name. Like I also said before. My commentary on the fanboyism. Speaks and stands on its own. And believe me I'm not the only one who thinks this. There's quite a few also in these groups on Facebook. Who are getting tired of the group think when it comes to them. And you're not allowed to be critical in anyway. Or deviate from the group think. I think as of late their last few releases. All sound to much alike and similar to one another. Songs like Different, Sense, Black Hole, Unleashed and a couple others. I'm not into Anime and it seems they've been writing much of their recently released material. In many cases specifically for that. I find that their last I don't know four five six or seven releases. Sounding a little bit chaotic. Just for the sake of being so. Just give me a rock song and let it stand on its own. I don't need it to be tied into anything else. Thanks for the response back to me. And my friend has the two tickets. That he purchased on my recommendation. Because he himself hardly knows anything about them. I guess what I'm saying in a way is. People should learn to keep this stuff a little more in perspective. @@2genreactions Lastly there was a guy who used to pop into all these reaction channels. I think he went by the name select circle or something like that. And all he used to do was bash Miku and to some extent the ladies but not as much. And anyway he showed up he trashed and bashed Miku. And I and a few others after a period of time I think. We're able to put him in his place. He was going on saying things like. They should get rid of her, she's no talent. They would do better without her. And I don't want you to think that I'm trying to come across. As someone who is trashing or against these incredible talented musicians and women. But a lot of times it seems that commentary is almost like. A bunch of giddy boys coming down Christmas morning to open their presents. And a good bit of it in my humble opinion over the top. But to each his/her own I guess. I guess probably in part some of it is also. All these groups that many of us middle-aged guys. Have been listening to for close to half a century. All of sudden many are so readily able to diss them as mediocre at best in comparison. To me they'll always be groups I've listened to and followed for close to a half century. Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin, Floyd, Who and Van Halen. But I think if I'm putting this group at maybe at my 7th favorite group of all time at the moment. After only being a fan of theirs for like 3 years or so. Then I think the group is in pretty good company. I'm not ready to crown them or christen them. The greatest rock group of all time and that ever existed. Maybe that'll take a few more years. Stay safe over there on your side of the pond !

I hear and agree with what you say about some fans. We must remain lucid at the risk of becoming fans like Baby Metal. Fan of the Beatles, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Hendrix, and I'll stop there, I got used to the idea that no group would reach the level of these legendary groups and musicians. Band Maid really brought tears to my eyes. These five little Japanese girls brought me out of my torpor, at the end of 2021, and gave me back my faith in rock with a good slap in the face. I wanted to follow their journey from their beginnings to find out where the hell these chicks dressed as maids café came from and how they had evolved to achieve such musical quality. This is simply due to their multiple talents. I confess that I own all their EP and LP albums. But it took me a little time and re-listening to appreciate their progrock from Conqueror. From there I was able to assimilate all their following songs, even Différent and Sense. Mincho tends to add a lot of layers in his compositions which makes the songs complex. However, is this a defect? She'is an unrecognized genius. The Maids do not yet have the notoriety of their illustrious elders but they are following in their footsteps. They will reach it, maybe or not, but not for a few years. Thanks for your comments, mate. And I pray for your health.
