Kanami´s songwriting is just NUTS! She is such an inspiration in my opinion, how much she switches pace, stretching between different genres, giving EVERYONE a moment to shine and even if it´s chaotic to be able to get STILL a structure in it, is just beyond my understanding of music. She is a freaking genius! Also really cool that she works with the other members (especially Akane and MISA) together to round it up... They already have 100+ songs, but Kanami has FOR SURE already 100 other songs/riffs or other things in hear head... Greetings from Germany, you guys are awesome, love your videos!

No God is my favorite song,, wow, such rhythmic drumming, unique concept, killer chaos in harmony . wonderful upbeat chorus with akanes drumming and the guitar tones are just perfect here. Read the bio above. A couple of things, she won the Super Idol Auditions in 2012. She negotiated an agreement with her agency for her to form a Maid themed band. So when she went to recruit Kanami she had that agreement in hand. Then she convinced 4 strangers to wear Maid Uniforms on stage, and play "cool music" has she put it in an interview. She is a very Smart and Ambitious Lady that has succeeded. Perhaps beyond her dreams, I don't think she thought about performing to fans in Europe and the US with fans who sing with them in Japanese. You may have to brush up on your Japanese if you are going to see them in concert!! PLUS, not only did she learn to play the guitar "on the job", she learned to sing while playing the guitar. Which is not easy.
@fatcatzero1183 жыл бұрын
What is most amazing is that Miku was saying about world conquest since 2016 interview. At start of the band, Miku and the band already made some important strategy decision. Starting with dual vocal, music direction focusing on hard rock, maid outfit and world conquest. I would love to have her as my CEO XD.

@@dicodec The song isn't complete without the vocals, but you hear all kinds of craziness when they're not there to distract you. The reverse is probably true too, if you took out the bass or lead guitar you'd probably appreciate the vox more. They just cram in too much to hear at once.

The album is full of chaos. They apparently stopped giving a damn and their new label is apparently fine with it. Subgenre lines? No, fuck that. Tempo so fast it's almost impossible to keep together live? Fuck yes. Weird shit all over the place? Fuck yes. Each member playing something completely different over each other? Sure. They even have a song which breaks the standard formula, which is the one thing I really did not expect from them.

This is Band Maid???? REALLY? Wow! Any group that can incorporate Motorhead, Dragonforce, Amaranthe, Bootsy Collins and Dream Theater into one song is ok in my book. Not a really big fan of Band Maid, but this song was just weird enough (I like weird) to catch my interest. Good choice guys! I will definitely be checking out more of their stuff! Are we going to see more MTH soon?

Oh awesome! That's cool that you dug the song. I'm not too sure honestly. It can vary from a week or two depending on who is editing the video.

@@dicodec The whole "Unseen World" album has been made available on their official KZbin channel. Previously it was for KZbin Premium members only. I don't know if/how this will affect blocking but it's there under "Playlists".

@@tinyhato Pony Canyon seems to be trying to promote them a little more than prior labels so they are making things more widely available- Now if they would make concert vids available for purchase on Amazon - I would have no money. I already dropped a ton on limited editions:)
