My favorite performance of Rock in Me is from the Chicago concert fan- can from Wave Potter. The sound quality is excellent and Miku's voice is much more confident and stronger ( especially when she yells out "Sing it Boys!!". Miku's vocals are much more powerful than this earlier performance of the song. I am a huge fan of the "raspy pigeon voice". My favorite example of this is The Omajini time at the Dallas concert. Miku: "Are you enjoying po!?!?" Maidiacs: "Yeah!!!" Miku (in quieter raspy pigeon voice) "Me to po". 😅I love the raspy pigeon voice.

One of my favorite Band-Maid moments is that jazz interlude in Secret My Lips. Saiki has such an apt voice for jazz singing. I would also love a full album of them doing smoky jazz songs.

They played it at Chicago last year. I was on the rail in front of Misa and Miku came there and waved at me 🥰 One of my best memory from a show 😊 This song is so fun and Miku can let her entertainer part coming out

I LOVE how Kanami appears to be strumming her guitar but can pull out a single note, unless it's a backing track. I watched a great local guitarist from The Schwartz Bros. in Cleveland, years back, do this. This is a fun but a very well written and performed song. Hope they play it in Charlotte! Miku is the Queen.....po!

I _think_ what you're talking about is done with the left hand - like if you're palm muting but have one string fretted cleanly, that one string will ring out more clearly than the rest. I've done it inadvertently but doing it on purpose takes some practice.

I don't know id you got to see the lead up to this song, but it is comedy gold! Well worth looking for if you didn't catch it. But this gives everyone what BAND-MAID might have been like if they had never found Saiki. She and MISA really give BAND-MAID their edginess.

What you watched was Miku original concept for Band Maid, her as the lead vocals. Many know the story that Akane, MISA and Kanami told her, her voice was too soft to front a rock band. So Saiki was tricked into joining them.
