Their sence of humor combined with their killer rock music makes for one entertaining show to go see

Nice to see a band that actually enjoys being together.

Not your average rock band .. How can you not love them .

The interviews are on YT with English sub's. The one with them at the bar is multi-part, interesting and fun. Saiki and Akane are from the same province and their dancing is supposedly from there. Actually MISA is the goofiest one in private and the shyest on stage. Miku has been working on her English and I hope to see how good she has gotten at their concert here in LA this year.

Band Maid have a sisterhood forged through the rock and roll trenches, besides being a farking awesome rock outfit they never forget that three letter word so many bands have lost - fun 😄 the clip of dancing to Silent Siren always picks me up, peace and love Po 👍🎼🥁🎤🎸🍻

BAND-MAID dancing to Silent Siren always cracks me up. TRIVIA: Bassist MISA is close friends with Silent Siren Bassist, Ainyan. BTW, Akane's first instrument was trombone (which she still plays)...she is also the best dancer in BAND-MAID. Kanami started out on piano at 3 years of age.

I loooove the clip from "Kan-nai Devil" where Miku demonstrates Omajinai Time and gets so into it that Kanami starts getting a little freaked out. 😀 Bummer that the full segments got removed from YT.

Definitely need to check out the Miku goes into the audience video. From October/November of 2019 in NYC. It was either at the Gramacy or Mercury lounge. Not all that long, maybe a few minutes or so. But it's a hilarious look at her comedic skills. And her ability to control an audience. If you can do both parts 1-2 !

Two different people recorded that. One of them shows Kanami sticking the pocky up MISA’s “nose hole.”
At the Portland 23 show, Miku asked if there were any fans from Japan. So Mincho goes off the stage and says “I’m from Japan”

Thanks. In addition to being great musicians, they're also pretty funny. I've read that all the girls except Akane are pretty shy off stage, Miku is teh spokespigeon and in front of a camera is high energy. One of the best interviews is the "Gold Rush" interview, one of the fans added English subs and added some notes about Japanese terms - kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWWphayEiNiqp6M - this one provides a lot of context to their stage personas.

This is a bit late, but they were performing at a jpop event, which is why the "jpop." They definitely don't consider themselves jpop, but it was a huge event they were invited to early on.

Outside of there incredible musical abilities. They remind me of a 21st century Japanese female version of the Marx brothers.

Actually, in private, Misa is the most goofy according to them!
