Sadly, it is a very bad song and will be forgotten and unnoticed. It was expected more from this collaboration but it has been disappointing. Live it sounded much better but in the studio it is very poor. It has a weird production that puts the instruments too low and the vocals too high. There is no balance. You can't hear the instruments well. Saiki has exaggerated with his high voice and it sounds very shrill and forced it's not her normal voice. Dany's voice loses its power especially in the beginning which has some weird effects and sound very different from the live version. And this simple pop rock style doesn't suit Band Maid very well. It's clear that they were forced to adapt to TW's pop rock but without a good result. The solos are forced and have no place in the song. Overall a very flat song, without creativity. A waste of this collaboration. At least the video is good.

The drum battle happened during their show live. Both battled while the bass and guitar solos. So basically when Ale played her solo Pau played, then again when Dany played her guitar part and then again alone. Each of those parts can be heard here but are not shown in the video.

What a week for the Warning. Earlier they played the 2 biggest fests of their career. Today they released the single recorded with Band maid, announced they are nominated for a VMA and will be doing the last show of the Europe tour in a couple hours.

I think it’s a good blend of the sounds of both bands, it reminds of both styles, which is actually pretty amazing because they are pretty distinctive. I like the chemistry between both groups, since they are both very close-knit. Considering they certainly had a bit of difficulty talking about their musical ideas, it’s already a good result. I’m certain they can go further if they get a longer time to work together, but their approaches are certainly so specific that it’s not very easy in the beginning.

This is as good a collaboration as you can have, I think. I doubt that a collab can ever be the best song for either group involved. How could it be? Each participant gives something up for the others to have room to play. That this song is so good is a testament to how good every one of these women are at their craft. Anything “missing” to the ears of a rabid fan of one group is replaced by something very good in its own rite. Hmmm… that may have been a clumsy way of saying “they compliment each other magnificently.” 😂

In their Tokyo performance Pau and Akane went back and forth a bit longer during the breakdown, but played most of the song in synch together, which is kind of a rarity to see nowadays. I agree with your summary; by necessity, a collaboration of this type is a compromise between 2 different styles, so not necessarily better than their individual songs. 😎👍

I was at the show in Tokyo where they debuted this song together. There was a lengthen trade off for the drummers. I hope they release the live version too. That show I n Tokyo was AWESOME! I thought your sc I res were fair.

The bottom line is, it was a fun song and a really good collab between entire bands. Hopefully we'll see Band-Maid do some shows with the Warning in Mexico.

I think that it is a Kanami composition and arrangement a bit like they did with Bestie. So don't know who will play it. Your score was good, but it is a usual thing with collaborations that they end up not being the best for both bands.

They are longer when they made their debut in June, the drums came and went more in a row... it's difficult, stretching out a lot of solos as they are different styles of both bands, they managed to both shine and leave you with more.

It’s well constructed and isn’t the mess that many full band collabs are, but it’s not the collab of the year. Many would argue for the Babymetal and Electric Callboy one, which is intense fun. So far this year it has to go to the two songs between ano and Lilas Ikuta. Last year the honours would go to Millennium Parade/Daiki Tsuneta and Ringo Shiina

The song is okay.😊 It has some Band-Maid traces... but mainly it has the construction of a Warning song.😉 I understand that Ale and Dani couldn't keep up with Misa and Mincho... but Pau and Akane should have tried a much longer and more interesting drumming exchange, which would have made the song memorable.😔

Hi Sharks 😉, it's a beautiful song, not a great song. This is a BANDMAID song and if you listen closely I notice that BM probably made her solo parts stand out a bit more. I’m not a huge Bandmaid fan but 💯 respect them as artists. I loved both of these bands sharing the limelight, but I just don’t find this song that catchy 🤷‍♀️. I agree with this score

It seems the warning played 2nd fiddle to Bandmaid. Bandmaid won the bass faceoff, the guitar faceoff and the drum faceoff. BM's singer is too high in the mix and very shrill.

Is everything a G.D. competition? The song was written by Kanami it's a Band-Maid song. They were cool enough to ask The Warning to work on it with them. Kanami stated they will work with The Warning on a song of there's next. Just enjoy the music chill out and have fun. Both these bands are.

Kanami came with the original idea and Dany help her given form with modifications of Pau and Ale and also the rest of BM members made modifications too. Remember the song is all in english in a radio format and have to acomodate to that with participation of 8 people, and they did it to be played by both bands live without the other. So all in a good colaboration. Yes, being realesed in the BM album, the preference in the video goes to them as natural. And when sang, TW will let ther public know is a colaboration with BM like when they colaborated with Alessia Cara for the cover of Enter Sandman for the Black List of Metallica In another coment, let me tell you that live, the song appear made more for Dany than Kaisi (and not only for the initial cry). In words of Saiki, Kanami is a sadist for made them sing in a higher key, meanwhile Dany was smiling.
