I remember when I got my Jump Wings at my last jump at Ft. Benning. My Dad and my Black Hat punched them into my left chest. I got Blood Wings from my Dad and Black Hat. It was very emotional moment back then after the pain. LOL!!! AIRBORNE ALL THE WAY!!!

When I joined the American legion in 1966 I was the first Vietnam vet and about 1/5 of the members where WW1 vets . hell now there are almost no WW2 vets left and Im 75 myself , life goes on .
