I like to use a mid point and pull band over head. ... Would like to see you incorporate some band exercises for Kneesovertoe. Thanks Brandon !!

You can actuallly make this better by using a hand towel or a thicker band as a triceps rope for a cable machine. You can place the towel or band inside the loop to create a Y shape and that way you can actuallly grab that towel or band and pull back to get an insane amount of shoulder external rotation without bothering with the band touching your face, which can be a little bit annoying. It also increases the lenght of the band which is nice for working out outside. Great video thou, keep them coming.

I have seen these done with a towel. Definitely can help with more grip comfort and external rotation. One thing you do miss out on with the towel is the added resistance from the band segment between your hands.

Great video, first time trying this. Form isn’t amazing but that’s expected for a first time. Subbed and will be visiting your channel more often. Thanks

I added clear protective glasses to my workout gear. Sooner or later the bands will snap, they will snap when under stress and you don't want them to hit you in the eyeball when they do.

Yes, definitely better to be safe than sorry. Especially when doing face pulls.

Another trick is to take a second band of equal strength, loop it through the first anchored band at midpoint, and then use this like a rope attachment. Gives you better mobility and grip, plus you don't end up getting hit in the face with the first band.

One odd question I have is about the angle that you placed your body from the anchor point. Is that necessary only for filming or is that something for the actual exercise?
@ClenchFitness Жыл бұрын
Just a filming thing. The angle really doesn't matter.

So the only thing I don’t get is, to really get my shoulders back it’s like my face is in the way. Can I pull it over my head?
@ClenchFitness2 жыл бұрын
Make sure to take a wide enough grip on the band to provide some room, the band will contact your head. You can also use 2 bands as well, or a towel wrapped over the band.

Pull back and out, hard to see the complex movement with the camera angle
