I'm getting around 22 second laps.... I think, unless my math is off, that's average of 82mph around the track. Man that's cooking for these monsters!

well it’s 0.50 mile, lap times are around 28-31seconds depending on temperature/weather/track conditions etc. so let’s 29 seconds to a do a half mile that’s about 61mph avg, so i’d say 45-50 thru corners, 75 on straight maybe 80 maybeee

But the GM of BMS said this about the Bandits - "Last year's Bandit Big Rig Series was a thrill as fans in this area got to see these Iron Giants at speeds of over 100 mph for the first time," said Jerry Caldwell, executive vice president and general manager at Bristol Motor Speedway.
