Bandit The Boxer (And his Trusty Squeaky Pig)

Bandit The Boxer has been coming to the farm since he was about 6 months old.. he holds many records for a lot of the activities we do here... but his funny toy behaviour will forever make us laugh.

Bandit was the dog that turned me into a regular viewer during the US lockdown. I came for Bandit and stayed for the rescue dogs. Followed by the puppies. Followed by the rest of the dogs. 😁 I re-watch the old videos just to see if I can remember all the dogs' names now that we don't see them as much.

Ben you nailed Bandit. He is truly one of a kind. He is happy playing with his piggy by himself. It's funny when he puts his paw on the other dogs head to keep his toy. I use to love it when he would get the Vizsla's to go in and get his pig. He also is great at hiding and giving the best side eye. His loving nature has a calming effect on the newbies and puppies too.

Aww, Bandit is "King of The Farm!"👑 He is hilarious and full of love! His facial expressions are funny too. He taught the other pups to retrieve his toys in the water for him, by dropping them in. He's trained so many pups to do the retrieving for him!🤣 His "You can't see me 'cause I'm hiding, as I don't want to go home, Luke" routine, is infamous! I laughed out loud, every time. love this guy such a great Dog we had bandit not a boxer but similar personality loved the water boat on lake huron sarnia ontario and our Bandit thought he was a life guard and jumped after you if you or anyone jumped in for a swim and we would throw out the life ring and he would pull himself up on the life ring to float around funny guy miss him a lot just a great mut heinous 57 had collie and Shepard mix lived till he was 19 years !

I said Mr. Bandit was an honored guest and he has been. Such a wonderful Boxer dog. Very strong, smart and communicative. He knows how to let his human friends know his desires. A champ in the pool or pond and on the lure course. So fun. I love those old videos of Bandit hiding and reluctantly acceding to get on the bus or go home. I know his family at home are wonderful and loving and he has his best life there at his real home. His get-away home also loves him and we the audience of these videos do to! Hope Bandit is well.

I loved the times when Bandit would hide at the end of the day (sometimes in plain sight) as he did not want to go home. It was almost like a Bandit version of Where's Waldo.

I laughed out loud the first time one of the vizlas retrieved Bandit’s toy. His surprised, indignant expression was priceless. His love for Luke is overwhelming, literally, as he wraps his legs around Luke and smothers him with kisses. He knows where the lure is hidden, he overseas newcomers and puppies, and when he ran out of places to hide at home time, he cleverly pretended to have lost his hearing. He knows that a knock on the door will get him inside every time and he graciously taught a few disciples how to accomplish that, as well. Thanks to his family for sharing him and to Ben for this wonderful tribute to the one and only Bandit. Long live the king!

His giving sweet Charlie friendly kisses… attacking the lure machine…Being the last to leave the lure field…and of course, hiding when it is time to leave the Farm. Like many others have stated, I started following DDFT because of Bandit. I instantly fell in love with this big, lovable, gorgeous dog. He’s amazing with the biggest personality I think I’ve ever seen in a dog. He’s got two families that adore him and has fans around the world. Thank you to his parents who let Luke and Sam share him with the DDFT and now The Farm fans. I often go back and view old videos that have Bandit in them.
