Banff National Park: What to Do in BANFF 2024

This video features Banff National Park 2024: The BEST tips for budget travel to the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
We stayed right outside of Banff, in Kananaskis which offered affordable lodging. We ventured out to explore Kananaskis Village, hiked around Lake Louise, kayaked on Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park, stopped at Natural Bridge, journeyed through Johnston Canyon to see the lower falls, and then we went all over downtown Banff including Central Park, Cascade of the Time Garden, Bear Street Tavern, and Banff Upper Hot Springs.
We started our days off with Tim Hortons for breakfast and were energized for our adventures. We paid for our Banff passes and arrived very early to get parking at Banff National Park.
We also explored Lac des Arches, Lake Minnewanka, cave and basin which is Canada's first national park, and an incredible lunch at The Balkan and delicious dessert at Cow's ice cream.
We spotted lots of wildlife while in Banff including bears and Banff mountain goats. We visited at the end of May, soon after the lakes melt from being frozen during the winter months.

It was still cold when we came in El the end of May. While beautiful, I’m unsure if my wife will be up for the winter holiday. Being New Yorkers she tries to avoid the cold lol

Thanks for the support as always Roger! We had so much fun and absolutely loved it here. With regards to the drone we did not take off or land at any park. We were in kaninaskis at our hotel on one clip and the other was in banff town. We were very careful to not fly in the parks

It is wonderful to find great content. Lots of people have channels but not all are created equal. I agree about Iceland. We have never experienced anything like it before. Simply beyond human comprehension and a trip that I can’t get out of my mind. Your friend’s shirts are cool. I didn’t check for a link but I will. Great question, we actually don't track them. Thats a great thing to note in our videos. I think thats very useful information to use. I think this place is great though because there wasn't a lot of walking necessary. Much of it we chose to walk to and hike. For example, if you can find parking you can get out the parking lot at lake louise and walk about 2 minutes to the lake
