OCTOBER 2024 Updates
Civil Contractor : PKG1 - NCC LTD - 11.003 KM & 650 metr depot line
PKG2 - NCC LTD - 11.678 KM
PKG3 - NCC LTD - 15.011 KM including 718 meter cut and cover portion.
Piling Works Happening and Pier casting Picking up pace.
Stations in the stretch :
Package 1 :
Kasturinagar Station - Pier cast Upto Concourse level.
Horamavu Station - All piers cast up to concourse level.
HRBR Layout Station - Concourse Arm Connector affixing has begun.
Kalyan Nagar Station - Concourse Arm Connector affixing has begun.
HBR Layout Station - Pier cast up to Concourse level.
Nagavara Station ( Interchange with Pink Line ) - Piling has started in the second half.
Veerannapalya Station - RHS : Pier cast. LHS : Pier casting In Progress.
Kempapura Station - Median Pier casting in progress.
Hebbal Station - Pier casting in progress.

Hi sir at veeranapalya station there is one construction goin on next to manyata tech park entrance is the building veeranapalya metro station or it is a separte building.Can you provide info on this.Also how blue line and pink line will be connected at that place

Let them complete from KR puam towards hebbal one by one stayation And extend service towards Hebbal Instead of hepizodl gap works..it effect the public like this vedio.

Doing R & D works in this project like pier cap, u girders are mounted ,shifted, planted etc...otherwise mounting webgirders is taking long time...Not at good pace

How will the interchange be in the nagawara station ? As we see pink line station would be underground and where will the exact interchange be for blue line station

Simplex was a good company and good paced too. they just went bust financially and then projects got abandoned. Now on NCC. it is not as bad as them. Remember they had a 6 month no work due to the unfortunate accident and new supervisory means they are under heavy scrutiny. Many of hte piers have to be cast in stages to conform with the height restriction laid down and as if not enough its on ORR, so they really have a tough time to get men , machinery during the day time. Most important, they have numerous Split flyovers and Split underpasses and hence piling work is generally done with abundant caution, so as not to affect existing structures.

What was that yellow crane looking thing after kalyan nagar station? What is it used for?

A gantry crane. This will help lifting U girders onto a transporter which will feed the launching girder. Since there are many split flyover and underpass in this stretch, crane launching is not feasible so LG has to be used.

Common Bangalore you are the only hope for India .. Mumbai and Delhi are lost cause .. Only Hyderabad and Bangalore are better at present

This is KPTCL responsibility. Till they convert this to an UG line and connect to the sub-station they will not dismantle this . Hopefully sooner.
