Curing compounds are available so no need to do water curing for 2 weeks. However the concrete need to achieve its strength and usually takes 28 days after casting. However high grade concrete with higher and early strength are available in market. If used, may be 2 weeks enough to launch the girder subject to conc cube strength achieving the design strength. Generally grade 30 concrete is used for this box girder bridges but in market grade 50, 60 MPa are available.

Glad they placed steel grider over MRTS line. Btw, any info on when the road can be open for traffic ? Currently, vehicles are using a narrow lane near the church causing huge traffic jams .

WE TRAVEL FROM VELACHERY TO CHEPAUK FOR A MEGRE TICKET FARE OF RS. 5 /- CREDIT FOR THE DELAY IS SQUARELY ON THILLAIGANGA NAGAR AND JEEVAN NAGAR RESIDENTS, WHO OPPOSED THIS PROJECT TOOTH AND NAIL FOR FIFTEEN YEARS. THE PITY IS THAT THE RESULT WAS NOT A GAIN FOR THEM. THANK THEM. SOUTHERN RAILWAY IS A WOUNDED SOLDIER IN THIS PROJECT; HENCE THEY SHOW NO INTEREST.

Cost of travel will be be high compared to metro, passenger capacity of EMU very high. Max ticket will be ₹10, whereas it will be ₹40.

Congratulations for this latest update. This late 500 Metres distance upto St Thomas Mount is taking a long time. From today 15.10.2024 North East Monsoon has also started so it will be difficult to complete before December 2024. At least MRTS Trains can be run upto Adambakkm MRTS Station. Both the stations constructed after Velacherry stn are getting old and is like a dead investment. Special thanks to you for this informtive video. All the best. Take care.

Exsmple 12g bus route after yellow pgs, its valluvar silai stop (left) but both apps saying avm rajeswari kalyana mandapam (straight via rk salai)
