I visited this ruined temple around 35 years ago with my friend. This temple was full of shrubs & weeds on this statue. Then, I approached the then MLC and narrated this. He then took interest and developed this temple. Before the development of this temple I had visited this place with my full family and children and spent several hours there as the nature around was very ambient then. I thank Dhurmu for his usual fast explaining sincere effort to bring the history well, to the public domain.

Wonderful place, there is big fort, big pond at the centre having full of Lotus flowers, one small well having sweet water, a small temple attached, another side a circular basement remnants, there is a flat place outside to sit and see, whole places like ಹಿರೇಹಳ್ಳಿ, ಕ್ಯಾತ್ಸಂದ್ರ, Tumkur, Amani kere, kesaramadu, nijagal betta, ಸಿದ್ದಗಂಗಾ, and many more places we can identify from there, pl try to show to others who not visited. But my worry is that weather you are doing the alerting the govt when Muzarai dept neglecting in protecting such a historical temples. I want to know weather Muzarai dept taking care of such historical temples and what improvements the dept has done. As I seen muzarai dept is simply sleeping without protecting the temples.
