I was a first time dog owner years ago. We learned from our mistakes for sure! I ended up training all the puppies in my neighborhood in Vancouver. Exercise her a lot before a car ride. Lots of stops for fresh air. Bring a blanket from home. Less touching but maybe try acupressure. Vet told us feed only once a day once an adult. Check ingredients of packaged treats. Loved the video as I’ve done that drive many times.

You’re a good mommy, my boy is exactly the same way with traveling… it’s anxiety of leaving the home…. he won’t eat or potty. It helps to make short stop on long trips and opening the window would of definitely help from the beginning. Love to you and Bambi ❤️

Hi Ivana, love watching your vlogs!! It's so great to see that you're taking your dog to places with you even though it's no easy task. Hopefully you can inspire lots of people to be responsible pet parents and also make pets welcomed at public places. You can give Bambi a slice or two of bread before you start a road trip, this will prevent puking. It works for people, so should work for dogs too.

Hi Ivana❤, I think like some of us feel puking inside bus or car, bambi either might have felt like that being in side without ventilation or may be she had a bad stomach. Hence, we can open the window in between while traveling for bambi. May be that might help

Don't you know dogs get motion sickness alot. So you cannot offer food until you get her out and her stomach is settled. I don't feed my dog when she goes on drives because they feel sick. As they get older their stomachs become more sensitive.

Thank You For Noticing & Mentioning That As I Feel The Same. Also, If I May Suggest, A Dog Harness Would Be Much More Suitable & Effective. They Go Over & Under The Midsection (Belly) Of The Dog & The Leash Attaches In The Front At The Top Of The Neck So Therefore It Doesn't Strain Unnecessarily. I Don't Know How These Are Called. Hi Ivana. Just watched the video. Bambi and my dog are very similar. My guy was also adopted and most probably went through some trauma that has made him a very timid dog. Bambi has the same body language and look in her eyes. Sensitive and emotional doggies. That said,my dog pukes on road trips too. So the vet gave us a tablet to give before we start the trip and not to feed the dog any food till we reach the destination. This has helped ease our travel and Raja too is comfortable with that. Check with your vet regarding this. If not,just avoid food. Surely no mirchi bajji for dogs! 😳Puke or no puke.

Bambi is just pure loveeeeeeeeeeee! I think the journey made her uncomfortable. Even my nephew also has same issue. He doesn't like road trip for the same reason. He prefers train/flight. No bus/car.

Bambi is soooo adorable and the love that you both have for each other s ❤ She is such a good doggo ☺😘 I think the traffic and no fresh air at the start of the journey made her throw up, because I personally am not good at being in the car backseat during long travels 🤢 Maybe she also felt that way, not sure tho! In train you can book a first class as pets are allowed ONLY in first class ..You will have to tell them beforehand that you will be travelling with a pet. And again please keep some medicine for her so if needed you can give her..

Bandipur forest road trip is so nice. We can easily find dears and wild elephants. But tiger is very rare. But you didn't shoot so much inside Bandipur.

I’ve travelled multiple times to Wayanad . It’s one of my favourite places in Kerala. So beautiful and filled with natural wild beauty. I live in NewZealand and go for hiking through the beautiful forests and mountains here (some are in my KZbin channel) but the beauty of the forests on western ghats enriched with wild animals is something unique. When I took my chilli on a road trip poor girl vomited almost thrice, and would always feel guilty for doing so, i later realised that I should have gotten her accustomed to traveling in car by driving her around within Bangalore itself, anyhow now she is a pro and loves the passenger seat all to herself on long drives

Great u take your pet with you! We also have a dog. Our Chiku, came all the way from Spain to India almost 2 years ago! We travel everywhere by car/rickshaw with Chiku. Not sure if buses are an option... For trains I know buying 1st Ac class its possible ;)

I can so understand. Poor doggo. Sometimes it's advisable to give very light breakfast and also much before you start travelling to doggos. Car motion is not a usual habit for them. When I got my foster pup, we were recommended same by shelter. I so felt bad for less fed puppy and felt also guilty about my wholesome lunch, but that was best for her 3 hours journey. Also do carry extra old bedsheets and some puppy training pads as well for such situations. Kudos for puppy wipes. Could be helpful is an dog calming collar or dog calming spray before travel. Also I know it's a wonderful love between doggo mum and her pup. But it's also good to just let them be when they are in a slightly different environment. Bambi is such a dream doggo. I learned a lot with these trial and error and these Marvellous creatures are super forgiving. All I can say is ik wens je mooi reis met je baby hondje. Love, Indian expat in Netherlands

majority of people think that all dogs are same. its false. every dog carry Their own character. not all dog are extrovert. dogs can be introvert like us too. & it doesn't mean an introvert dog is bad. just accept them as they are. one thing common in all dog is they all are Extremely LOYAL. when they find you are in trouble they will try to help you in any condition.
