I revisted one my favorite countries in the world - #Thailand! I was here almost exactly one year ago to the date, and the world at that time was still very much suffering from COVID-19; #Thailand was no different. I decided to come back now that #Thailand is completely open and tourists are back to see if things have changed after #COVID. Is #COVID in #Bangkok any different? Let's find out.

Monday is streets sweeping day.

Wat Pho is an old temple south of the Grand Palace. It is also known also as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha built by King Rama III in 1832. The King also decreed that traditional Thai massage and traditional medicine be inscribed on stone tablets to deseminate the knowledge to the general public. The famous Thai spa and massage are believed to originate from such stone inscription. King Rama III was also known as Merchant Prince because when he was still a prince he conducted trade with China and asked the ship captain to bring back stone sculptures such as Chinese deities, mythical beasts as stabilizing balance in the ship's belly. These stone sculptures are now commonly seen at Wat Pho, Wat Arun and the Grand Palace. When President Obama had only one day to tour a Thai temple, US Embassy recommended this temple due to its unique architecture, history and beautiful reclining Buddha.

There is one called Ong Tong Khao Soi with Michelin Bib Gourmand 4 years in a roll, now available in Siam Paragon Food Hall, you should try there even though the price is a little more but still inexpensive, at least with air con and better seating.

Back then there a lot of vendors on foot paths this day the Government try to move them out . The day you filmed was Monday they stop selling anything one day a week.

If you hate too Sweet coffee buy it at a specialty coffee shop of if you can speak a little Thai you can buy Coffee at street vender and say not too sweet coffee by saying Whan Noi for Less Sweet or Mai Whan for not sweet or Mai sai Nam tarn for no sugar but some times you will still get coffee with sweet condensed milk so you have to say Mai Sai Nam Tarn Nom Khon Whan
