Yes, pretty much everything is in English and Thai in Bangkok, we've had no trouble with a language barrier. English is widely spoken in the service industry.

Great condo! And only $1,000, that's awesome. I've never been to Thailand but considering staying for 30-60 days this year in April, May. But I'm concerned about the heat...lol. I traveled to Thailand, Japan and China 20 years ago and at that time it was extremely difficult to locate clothing to fit a US women's size 10 blouse or a basic medium in any clothing for a 5'9" 150lbs female. Do shops and retail businesses now carry wester sized clothing given the expat population?

We are visiting Thailand for 60 days during Jan-Mar 2024. Just recently learned short term rentals (Air BnB) are legally limited to 30+ days. I understand that this Bangkok rental was a month, but have you done other Air BnB rentals in Thailand for less than a month? How was your experience with that? What are the risks?

Lovely condo. You were given an amazing price for that. Clicking on that link it seems now they are looking for 1860.00 per month. I am traveling this winter and am in BKK now but leaving next week and will be back mid March? I may try to rent a condo/apt on the river!

It's a great area. We rented it almost a year before we got there, so it was pretty low. It still looks like November is open for $1,460 though.
