Sweet condo. My wife grew up right around the corner from there. You could showcase her home on the next video, but they rented it out. ;) It was on some land until the expressway gobbled it up. It has a view of the expressway from the second floor. She was still lucky to grow up in the heart of Bangkok. 🧘🏻❤️☮️

I guessed it exactly - 300,000THB. If you could afford it, it would be great, I love it. But I'd have to be really, really rich! It was great to see them all, but even if I could afford these, I think I'll still rent one of the $500 condos and save my money for more travel. Thanks for the videos!

Thanks for the videos. The funny thing is that I would take my little townhouse in Cha-am over any of those condos in a heartbeat. They were all utterly gorgeous, but, if living in them is anything like living in the more upscale parts of the DC area, I would never be able to really relax.
I’m wondering about how the housing prices are in Bangkok, hopefully for your next real estate guide we can see some house in all different budgets 👍👍

You've covered renting in bangkok pretty well - can you venture in the 'buying' part of the market? I'd like to get a second home in Bangkok or Chiang Mai when things are open again - I'm not sure about Bangkok and how the prices are, while Chiang Mai I know a little about, but I'd love to see some content on that.

I'm enjoying your condo tour videos. If you're looking for more ideas, I think it would be interesting to see condo tours (and other content) for people who are more nomadic and might only be staying in Bangkok for a month or two at a time. Using your 3 condo tour format, what would a one month rental in a $500,$1000,$2000 condo look like.

But looking at your vlogs i see stuff thats not so expensive but i am trying to determine if the country is work the time, the effort . i am happy you enjoy it so cool , but for a newbie the locals are going to hammer me for a long time before i figure it out. Too bad worked in Vancouver all my adult life and many guys went there. i Think now its popularity has made the prices go up dramatically . anyway thanks for your vlogs i like your crazy way of giving info

Love this video! But the apartment’s furnishings/decoration are bad. They really needed an interior designer.
@onalonan3 жыл бұрын
Yes, because noone designed these place for decorations, these apartments are just a normal apartment for rich owner. It's like their home and the owner just bought everything by themself with no design they just bought what they like and want they want to use it in their place. Some rich Thais bought the place like this and not really live because they already has their real house and just bought these place just to change environment. And there are so many place in Bangkok that they already designed and ready to live but those place are way more expensive. And these place in the video are not really the most expensive. The list below is the real list of most expensive place to live in Bangkok. The 5 most expensive place to live in Bangkok. 1. The St.Regis : owner's penthouse (Ratchadhamri Rd) =250,000 Baht per night (us$8,333/night ) 2. The Mandarin Oriental:Royal Suite (beside Chaopraya River) = 235,000 Baht per night (us$7,833/night) 3. Interesting. I think it is way too small for long term occupation. 1. The main bedroom doesn't have enough space to swing a cat. The 2nd is woefully inadequate. 2. The kitchen is not designed for serious cooking. In fact, I always wonder why more units do not have gas cook tops. It is de rigueur Thai food is cooked in a wok on gas, not induction or standard electric. In an apartment this means you need an overhead exhaust. I suppose to keep the apartment clean, you could use a BBQ gas bottle and wok burner on the balcony. I understand many people are going to eat out most of the time, but often it is nice to eat in with friends. 3. No room for home office. 4. No serious space for having friends over. 5. Euro furniture and finishings I think most attach very little value to. A lounge is a lounge. High end leather is rarely cared for properly, and is a nuisance if one spills food, wine, or baby vomit on it. Homes are made for living in, not photo shoots. All in all, claustrophic. This might suit a smaller woman. But Western men would suffocate here.
