BANGKOK to KUALA LUMPUR by train! OVERNIGHT SECOND CLASS/ECONOMY.

This week, I take an epic 30 hour journey, between Bangkok, Thailand and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This Journey I need to take a This overnight second class sleeper, go through immigration at the border station of Padang Besar and then catch a Malaysian KTM ETS for another 6 hours.

By next year, ETS will expand its route from Thailand border (Padang Besar) towards Singapore border at Johor Bahru. By 2026, new Malaysia-Singapore shuttle LRT train (RTS) will be operating from KTM Johor Bahru (Johor Bahru Sentral) to Woodlands, SG.
