They never went into production because cost going up was getting them out of the price point I wanted them to be in, on top of not knowing when we'd get them. Knowing what I know now it probably would have been worth it since the market price point has changed.

question, what size magnet are used in these? 300oz?

Probably around there I’d assume, but magnet size, to a degree, doesn’t really matter as far as output or loudness.

You are correct. Even worse is when "magnet weight" is used as MOTOR weight which is comprised of steel that is much heavier than the magnets alone. In either case, the weight of them is absolutely no indication of motor strength or performance. Different magnet grades can even weigh similar and look similar but have very different magnetism.

@@EMFAudio I understand all the differences and variables. I'm still just wanting to know the magnet weight. I'd assume 300oz is the go too but 450oz would be much better. better to have and not need then need and not have.

@@troydefond2307 Like I said before, it's completely irrelevant. You can have identical top plate diameters and thicknesses with a double 150 vs a triple 150 and see very little difference, and you could have a top plate ID smaller on the 300 than the 450 and the 300 would be a stronger motor. You could change the top plate size or pole machining and have one stronger than the other. Having a bigger motor that is just as strong isn't better, it's more weight which is more strain on the basket, and enclosure, and vehicle.
