Whether the O'Regans were entitled to the estate or not, they certainly uncovered corruption on the part of Brennan the administrator, it was his duty to ask where the decades of rent for those properties had went, and get a fair price for them, he did neither.

It baffles me that with approximately 30 properties at the time of the father's passing, with four children, how did anyone get to legally take charge of any of the properties? I know that after so many years of probably buying and selling over that it may be tedious but this should have been traced and investigated. Also, Mary wasn't aware of these properties or was it that she didn't want to have to deal with people as is evident by the way she lived?

My nan always said she was twenty one, When asked she said she was born in 1908, the same year as my grandad. It was only when I researched on Ancestry, I realised I couldn't find her or my gt grandparents. I had a dream the night before my daughter was born. My nan who had died years before said call her Emma, its a family name. So I did, then remembered that dream years later. Found Emma Powell, realised virtually everyone was called by their middle names and Nan, known as Dora was officially Agnes Dorothy, born 1902, not 1908. There are six missing years in her life before she married grandad that no one knows where she was etc. Not on the 1921 census either . It's a mystery
