Sometimes, deceased parents grant most of their wealth to the one that suffered most. My father was the first child, but my grandfather was working abroad despite having 6 children. As a result, my father became my grandmother’s helper, which also made him not attend school while all 5 did. When my grandfather was nearing his end, he gave half of his wealth and property to my father as a “payment” for taking his role as a father to his siblings. My uncle and aunties were unhappy about the decision, but it was luckily accepted.

I can't help sometimes but have a Google while listening. I do find it icky that when Peter passed away last year, there was a GoFundMe set up to help pay for his funeral expenses. He came across as a bitter, smug man, who received significant family trust fund payments, yet his children needed to hold out hands to pay for his funeral. I cannot help but somewhat agree with F.C. Dumaine that a Trust is smarter long term for the children than a straight, outrightinheritance. Siblings can be so nasty, especially when greed and money are more important to them.

Peter has double standards; he'd have us think him a patron of righteousness; yet he sits there showing hatred to someone who had never done anything wrong to him. The less said about his 2-faced sister, the better. On the other had, I feel it was very opportunistic of Liz to come after the family trust; she should not have pursued that because it ended up exposing hidden intentions, as much as I do feel that she is genuine about having relations with her half siblings.

Third: Years of built up bitterness and rivalry between the two brothers Buck & Pierre discoloured the following generation, dividing them.
