With two self absorbed parents. A father with an overriding hedonistic lifestyle and a mother absent for most of the year, how on earth did Caewlin grow up to be such a lovely young man. Parents more interested in their own desires than giving love and nurturing to their son and no doubt their daughter too.

With the 7th Marquess of Bath’s recent passing, it’s only a matter of time now before the seafoam green is gone from the grand entry. I was surprised to see it still green on an Instagram photo from the 2019 holiday season recently. I’d guess the repainting will be within the year though later due to quarantine and rescheduling of experts. I’m sure the repainting in a more historically correct color will be a relief to historians and curators.

A lot of (not the heir) sons of the aristocracy went off to China, Japan, India, Africa, etc. to make their fortunes back in the day. I suspect they wanted something exotic. Really what does a zoo have business being on an "English" estate? I loved the end result. So colorful and other world like. I imagine it was spectacular in person. I'll have to google and see what they've done since. Overall I've read the Longleat estate is doing quite well now. The cash, commitment and vision needed. If left to the old Lord...they'd be broke!
@elainabauer45315 жыл бұрын
Visitors are mostly from the area and they're not going to go to the same thing over and over again. It's just a theme for a few weeks. It's not permanent. The year after there will be another theme. This is how Longleat is one of the most revenue-generating estates and will survive for the next generations. Lots of estates are closing down because they're not renewing or generating revenue.

How did they turn out so normal? And what's with the curator? She seems to have some thinly veiled aught against Emma.
