@sandalssuck It's really not that bad. The agility and moveset Mario had in 64 was amazing and let you get to one corner of the map to the other in seconds. Plus some levels changed depending on what star you selected, so it was kind of a requirement to kick the player out at some point.

Guys, I figured out how to get this to work. DON'T patch Banjo-Kazooie.z64... instead download Banjo-Kazooie.v64 Yes, the .v64 makes all the difference. Wish this was explained in the description. I was banging my head against a wall, until I downloaded the .v64 version of Banjo-Kazooie [U], patched it, and presto it works! Impressive hack! Can't wait to see more of it!!!!!

I just had traumatizing flashbacks. Recently I figured I'd try to 100% Banjo-Kazooie within 24 hours, and I kinda did it... But when I got to Grunty, I died while trying to activate the Jinjonator and when I retried there was a glitch where one of the Jinjo statues were just not accepting eggs. I tried a few times hoping it would fix itself, but I just had to give up.

My suggestion would be maybe to have the whomps (thwomps?) replaced with the tombstone enemies from Mad Monster Mansion since they are similar in shape and require them to fall over to die. Outside of that, I see a game cross-over with a lot of potential. Keep up the good work.

Banjos version looks like it needs to be harder tbh. Theres a lot of openness to it where it doesnt involve obstacles or strategy. That's the only complaint besides that it looks good.

@@Fironnathedarkelf False, you have to have to acumulate enough speed to break through the wall without being stopped. You can do that, with a lot of A presses in the lever with the red coin, or you can Go for a parallel universe while having your speed to avoid some a presses. Alternative, a more easy solution is to glitch yourself with a bomb through the wall, while gaining speed, droping it in the ground to avoid A presses.

Yeah if you download one game into another without downloading everything but course info and textures or something the game will try to recreate it but it dorsn't have the same entities and textures so it does its best to recreate

they could've done a better job fixing the original geometry from SM64 1)Lots of Z fighting because mario 64 has a special texture mode that prevents that. 2)Backwards culling on stuff like the fences is not disabled so they render only from one side. 3)all of vertex colors are gone so all textures just blend together without any shading at all.
