It brings me so much happiness to see banjo back in action again. I call shenanigans on those groundpound locations in the hack though, especially that switch in the forest. Great to know they're coming to Smash as well. Maybe that means theres some hope for a reboot or sequel?

I think there's hope for a true sequel of Banjo-Tooie. Rare knows how to handle Banjo-Kazooie really well.

I think it kind of works, but only partially. I'd say it's best to play it on the emulator.
