Banjo off to the vet today to be neutered/desexed

Banjo went to the vet today to be desexed / neutered. It went well, he’s extremely happy to be home. We were told he was a little sooky and howled to come home. Nawww buddy. Home now, safe and sound.

Loved the snow effect of Banjo's hair, our Pyrenees would do the same thing but always, not once a year. Wolfie was a great help in cleanup. Heel fast Banjo, hope you do not need the cone of shame or the battle weapon against everyone else.

Just a memory from a long time ago when I had my little boy desexed just going on 6 months. The vet says take him home & keep him quiet for 24 hours. Right, Banjo just reminded me. They are puppies, keep them quiet. Ha ha. My boy just wanted to play & play. ❤️😍❤️😍

I'm so glad you mention it when you have your dogs neutered and spayed. There are so many people who are irresponsible and don't do this.....and then we end up with unwanted dogs in our pounds and shelters. People respect you, Luke and Sam, so I'm glad that you mention it when a dog goes to the vet for their surgery. Banjo looks very happy to be home!

I had a German shepherd mix and we skipped the fluffing it in the air portion of the adventure and used the vacuum directly on her fur. She loved it. It was her spa treatment.

Oh no Banjo lost his wheels 😂 best deshedding tool is a horse block, looks like a black pumice brick, cheap as chips I spent hundreds on deshedding tools when I was a dog groomer now we just use the brick. I’ll send you some.

Most vets do surgery early in the morning and don't release them to their owners until late afternoon; so, usually about 6 - 8 hours after surgery. So, the anesthesia has well worn off. Both our guys were fine and raring to go.

I would thinkyou get enough to reupholster a sofa every few weeks .Goldies produce bucket loads too, combined with their tails collecting and dragging home twigs ,burrs, leaves etc. Oh and mud of course ,never happier than when caked in the stuff as we see with the goldies at the farm

I'd gladly put up with all the mess to bury my head in a beloved dog's fur (not the fox poo bit,obviously).One of the channels I follow on You Tube is a about malamute/husky called Sherpa.He goes on trips all over the UK with his dad who utterly adores him. Sherpa is really getting on now and I fear for his dad when he goes.
