Most of the times, they intentions are just mainly to humiliate the black man. Some of these people just resent the fact that some of these black people are more successful than themselves and the cops.

the same thing happened to me, i went to my companies bank to cash my paycheck, and i think they thought a balck man could not earn that type of money. the teller did the exact same thing. they called my job and the lady who runs the office explained to them and even described me to a t. but still they would not cash my check. this went on about a 1/2 hour then they went and got the manager lol, what was so funny is the bank manager was my cousin, and she cussed them all out. she said cash his check and let him go on his way. later i found out the teller was fired.

This is a case of *_"Racial Stupidity"_* because what black person (Or Any Person) of presumed *_"Criminal Intent"_* would walk into a bank, wait in line (Like everyone else) for their turn at a teller window, present a check (Drawn on said Bank) to cash along with a *_"Valid/Positive Picture ID!"_* into the custody of the Bank Teller Agent, then calmly wait for processing as they redirect their attention to their cellphone! YET deemed suspicious, and the police are called!😳..A Teaching moment? YEP! With a Big Ass settlement! And they can consider it *_"On the JOB Training"_* 🤬

Bank employees don’t do the bare minimum to verify checks or accounts. Calling Law Enforcement is an easy option for them. Their form of check validation is calling the cops on Black people. Sue them for racial profiling, denying your civil rights, false 911 call/police report, arrest, detainment, etc. They assumed he stole the check. This news should have been released earlier, when it happened. The news item was cut too short, like most BNC programs. I remember I had a over $9,000 check that I wanted to cash and the teller went to get the bank manager. I prefer direct deposit or bank wires. This injustice is what happens to law abiding, Black people. This is disgusting. The manager and the teller need to be fired. The brother is my type: handsome, ride a Harley, long hair, nice personality, etc. Not because he's an athlete. I am glad he told his story.

I'm so tired of this song. We seriously need to stop being so gracious with these ppl in the name of religion. She check my account and smiles, then nodded to the man standing around. The man went away and she became very friendly, asking if I wanted to open an account at their credit union. I’m sure my balance had a lot to do with the warm reception that I eventually received. I’ve gotten that reaction before.

@@MCfact1827 But it still has to be cashed, and from the behavior of that Bank Manager, he probably would not have cashed it. Probably would have told him some lie that they don't cash any kind of check if you don't have an account with their bank....and that he would need to deposit it at his bank and wait 10 days for it to clear.

As one viewer commented, I know he's suing, right? If Mr. Brewer didn't sue these people can I sue them on his behalf and get that money? This is the only thing that will get these people attention bc sooner or later they will get tired of costing the owners money that wasn't even necessary and that manager should lose his job. I don't care if he was a professional ball player has nothing to do with it, Obama was President for 8 years and they DISRESPECTED him need I say more. They knew exactly what they were doing and why, show this Black man to stay in his place, PERIOD.

Mr. Brewer & Mr. Coogler both have substantial means it illustrates how ingrained racism is .Racism is real & has no boundries if your skin is blacks

Which is typical of the RICH! They're generally laid-back (accomplished) and pretty much got nothing but TIME on their hands in all their wealthy pleasures in life! Hell, this may even have been a welcoming experience to break up the monotony of a mundane carefree lifestyle! Besides, he really had nothing to lose nor hide here, let alone to his net worth that check was likely pocket change🙄He'll just Lawyer up, get a bank settlement and it's back to playtime as usual!🙄

I have a horrible bank, but when I found a car I wanted to buy for $10,000.00 and I had the money to buy it outright, they had to have the manager check to see if the funds were there, and when they said they were, they asked me if I wanted security to walk me to my car.
