Hey Gale. My Dad had COPO 56 chevy from the Janesville GM Plant. It had a 283 with what was called powerpack heads. This Engine could eat Corvettes for breakfast. I think you two would have a great time going over the old days and what could be had in the day. He's an old street racer of the old days gone by. Let me know and i'll advise of ID.

When is killing a duramax coming back?

All three projects, Super Turbo (Monster Truck Engine), “Killing a Duramax,” and Banks Built are alive. The two engine projects are on hold for an extended duration while we conduct testing for our military program (Banks Tech) in Dyno Cell # 1 & #2. The moment these projects are completed, we’ll roll both the Super Turbo and the Killing a Duramax back into the dyno cells. As for Banks Built, we've been tuning the Motec ECM and adjustments to the engine.
