I often get lost in technically of ideology but at the end of the day I mostly listen to people who I believe actually care about fixing problems. I don't agree with Sargon or Bannon about a lot of things but their hearts are where it needs to be I think. This is what political interviews need to be. Not curated segments of prepared words, but just two people (or more) just speaking what they think needs to be done and respecting the intelligence of the viewer to best use the information available.

That actually IS how it used to be, into I think the mid to late Eighties, then things started to get more flash, and things progressively moved from content and discussion/debate/dialogue to appearance, "marketing" bollocks, spin and impression. In fact there are some fine examples on KZbin. Go and check out some discussions or interviews during the seventies or eighties. Unfortunately, resources are finite, which leads to larger issues such as inflating scopes and budgets to appease everyone now, rather than addressing only the most important things.
