Thank you for sharing the history on these properties and historic photos. It is so sad to see these neighbourhoods lost to development. Families being uprooted from their homes which are now only memories. It's heartbreaking! And the church that was accommodation... how awful when there are so many people living on the streets. I really appreciate all the time that you put into your videos. Thanks so much

Thank you for uncovering and sharing the timeless beautiful history and stories behind these fascinating places being unfortunately lost to time and development...so many times have i driven past many of the locations you cover, and wonder about the past that is hidden behind their walls and people that have walked through their doors. You're an Adelaide gem Paul, thank you as always!

I reckon somebody was using the mattress at 21:00 to drop things onto from the floor above. Easier than trying to move items down the stairs.

Very sad, how can the government condemn a beautiful old church and a place that was so obviously needed. Absolutely shameful. I really hope the squatters are ok. Thank you Paul for sharing this with us. The drone footage at the end shows the absolute destruction. How many homes were lost? I am in Perth and we almost had similar here but we protested and it was stopped ( for now )

Thank you for sharing this. I live just down the road and have watched the upgrades to South Road over the years. My family owned a fish & chip shop just over the overpass of Cross Rd. I knew of a girl who actually lived in one of the houses many years ago. I guess its progress but sad to see these buildings & homes being demolished.

As l heard there church may get demolished as well. I did notice that the foundation was needed to be looked at. The rest of the building looked good. Keep up the great work paul. Cheers deb

Well this proves that throughout life they'll be many changes -- in our lives-- and in our surroundings. That's why it's nice to take pics & be abit of an explorer. One day someone might take pictures of 'your' pictures & wonder what it was like 'way back'... (& the furture folks are talking about 'OUR' time period ! Folks of the future: " Oh look Martha -- Here's some guy named Paul-- Would ya just look at those old house's --" (And the 'old houses' would be from 2024 ! If the ladies could be from way in the future.) Hey, look at the '60 Min. Book' from what-- the 1970's or something. Look at those beautiful stain glass window's -- & the remembering of those who've past on. In this world-- one thing is true-- they'll always be life changing things happening -- Sad to see folks loosening their beautiful homes where they've made so many memories. The churches-🙏- where whorship service's were held, lunches, dinner's, bingo, weddings, funerals -- Fun times for kids at Christmas & the pagents -- & so on. Now it's just empty lots-- BUT THANKS TO PAUL & folks like him 'we' can look back and remember the past -- as it once was. Change is good -- without it how would we continue to learn & grow. Thank you Paul -- Please stay safe. Dang ! I'd volunteer to be quiet & play 'bodyguard'-- so many times it seemed like someone was on a bed, or behind the ding dang door-- looked like someone died on that bottom bunk-- my goodness --- Please wear a belt and have a combo 🔦 torch/StunGun --- I might come in handy one day

The timber beds look like they are in good condition and can be reperposed. Maybe the mattress and the other stuff in the room could have been done by someone with a mental illness that they thought someone was trying to get them.

I had to laugh when you were at the broken window and said you weren't walking through there because of the still attached glass. I thought, "oh, you've seen that movie too"? 🤣

The vehicle number plate on the door S671BRP was from an unregistered Ivecco van with reg expired on 27/09/2021. The lead light windows were amazing. Especially with the deceased peoples names on them. I wonder what was up in the attic manhole where the ladder went at the start ?? I guess because you’re alone it’s not worth the risk climbing ladders with your camera. You definitely do a good job because I watched your whole video and only fast forwarded bits in the beginning after the manhole until it got interesting around where the hanging mattress was. I’m guessing drunk peeps were jumping off the banister onto the mattress or with the mattress using the rope to break their fall for fun.

All these abandoned houses in South Australia or all over the country of Australia? It's really sad that people don't restore them back to their Originals because these are Heritage basically and vintage. And they're very sturdy you look at their houses these days they just been slapped together and it's like yeah that would do. I would really love to buy a country home and restore it back to his Village Way.

I thought Adelaide is a city of home demolitions .About every video I watch it's about demolition. You know the owners didn't get what they needed for another home. The goverment only cares about themselves and getting pay raises for nothing they do.
