Thank you for these wonderful shows. I am old enough to remember seeing the word Eternity written on the pavement in Sydney. He had beautiful handwriting. People would actually step around the writing, so as not to scuff it. Interesting times.

Wow, this was such a full series! The history of the Olympic games and their revival history also is incredible! I never knew that Englishman was involved, right? Remarkable! I am sorry about your family history, Tony! But you also noted that things improved and I think so too, they improved in an unprecedented way in other parts of the world as well! Carrying a tray for the boys was so kind, Tony lol… Sir Tony, you are an awesome presenter! You are energetic, witty, sharp and funny! The death of Milo, the great athlete was both funny and tragic as well as the story of the “handkerchief thief”! It sounded funny but I also think the man you mentioned got punished very severely as well! That Milo dude might have been very strong but he probably did not have it all right in his head lol… Sir Tony, your work is never boring and it is actually always interesting! What a privilege! Cheers!

Love these shows! I get to learn British history. As an American, we don't really get much in school.

This is australian history. But I agree, history is so important and so skipped over.

The artist who painted the nude model was going to marry his SISTER? Thinking about what a critic said about fathers and daughters, brothers and sisters should never be able to view it together suggesting that it would make the viewers have incestuous thoughts, I chuckled how ridiculous that was until the next thing I heard was artist was marrying his own sister. Maybe the critic knew the artist and knew he was having an incestuous relationship with a sibling.
