Bar Harbor was pretty nice place. We enjoyed the small marinas all around Acadia, great local chowder places in most Marinas. We have a great video where we rounded a corner by an inlet and watched 6 mature Eagles playing for over 20 min. Great place to visit!

We enjoyed Bar Harbor and Acadia as well. We didn’t get the opportunity to venture out and explore more of the area since we had to work during the week. Hope to make it back there again someday.

Love Acadia and Bar Harbour. We stayed in some Mom and Pop cabins, went to the 4th of July parade, and took the horse and wagon ride on the Acadia trails about 10 yrs ago. We ate at Geddys and Paddie's too. Yum.

Great video. Makes me want to go back. We were there in July. I recommend riding up Cadillac mountain on ebikes, they don’t charge the $6 fee and it was an amazing ride. It was great meeting you at Hershey.

I love Bar Harbor. Our favorite meet up place is what we call the Yellow Umbrellas at the Bar Harbor Inn. They have great food, service, views and drinks. You showed some great highlights of the area. Before covid, they had concerts at the park close to where Cafe This Way is (I have one of their coffee cups and it's one of my favorites). Those concerts were so much fun...like something out of a Norman Rockwell painting. I wasn't able to make my yearly trip to Bar Harbor last summer as we were working in Montana so I don't know if they have resumed. And the small blueberries are awesome. You can sometimes find Wyman's frozen blueberries from that area at some of the big box stores. When we find them, I always get a bag to put in the freezer as they are the best. Next time you are at Geddy's try their clam chowder... it's great. One summer my quest was to have a different blueberry drink at every place we went to there. And I succeeded in having some great ones. Enjoyed this video a lot.

Wrapping up our 2 week stay outside of Acadia. There is not a bad view in the park from sunrise on Cadillac mt., hiking Bubbles, Jordan pond, Bar island and Schoodic pennisula (worth the drive).

I love Maine, Bar Harbor & Acadia State Park. When the tide is out you can collect sea glass in the harbor. Sand Beach is one of the few black out zones on the east coast where there is no light pollution. Sometimes the park rangers use laser lights are point out the stars and constellations.

We missed ya by a week, we were there the week before and visited some of the same places and restaurants. Acadia and Cadillac Mountain were beautiful. Spent 10 days camping our way from Acadia to Kennebunkport. Great trip and some very nice campgrounds.

We were there in July of this year for 6 days. We had a great time. The roads and areas were much more crowded so we parked at the visitors center and rode the free buses around the island.

Oh Morton's Moo is so good! Eagle Lake is beautiful, and the road around it is a really nice ride. Cadillac is best at sunrise, but you have to be super early! I actually got a little misty at points watching your video tonight. Not because it was painful to watch (lol!) but because after going every year for the last 15 years except for 2020/2021, I really miss seeing our friends that we meet up with every year up there. We haven't seen them since 2019, and I miss them! I know every place you visited so well, and I love them all! I think if the state of the world was normal, we would have been there at the same time this year.

I don't recall having to pay to go up Cadillac Mountain. That was my second visit from Ohio. We stopped there the time before on our way to Nova Scotia. You should go there sometime and drive the John Cabot Trail (clockwise).

Oh HEY - you passed right across the street from where we bought a Christmas Ornament when we visited there in April of 2015. There was still ice and snow in some areas as Spring hadn't officially sprung yet, but it was so adorable! Ron says this is one of your BEST videos yet, we both loved the filming style AND the scenery. We ate at "Dinks (Route 66) Taxi" nearly the Acadie Hotel and Abbe Museum (I'm allergic to shell fish, so no LAHB-STR for me! LOL! Great stuff, loved it!

My kids went to top of Cadillac Mountain to view the sunrise. Photos were spectacular! It was more impressive than your sunset views. Keep that in mind for next visit. They also limited how many cars could park up top for sunrises.

Over 30 years ago, I rented a cabin in Pigeon Forge (it was just a spot on the map then!) and the front door was on the main street. There was a back door that took me out to a "babbling brook"! I've loved them ever since & went back a couple of times, to that same motel, just for that serenity! Michelle ... that sammich!!! The "overlook" convo had me giggling. LOL OMGosh ... the view of Thunder Hole! Amazing!! Almost noon and no coffee yet?!?!? I get up shortly after hubby and by the time I'm out of the restroom, I have a cup sitting on my desk. ;) I'm a tad spoiled right now! LOL The town, shops and streets of Bar Harbor are adorable! And that beakfast did look like it deserved a 10! Dangit! 1:49am and I sit here now wanting fresh lobster!! A year or so ago, I read of a place up that way that had an all you can eat lobster for just $9.99 per person! I wanted to go SO BAD!!! Maybe you guys can FedEx me some fresh cooked lobster? Haha! Sorry for being long winded, but you KNEW how much I was gonna love this! Just saying. :) Safe travels!!!! ♥

Loved the story you shared of the rented cabin in Pigeon Forge and the babbling brook! We stayed at an RV park there with a babbling brook. ☺️ We’ve moved on now from Maine, otherwise we would send ya some lobstah, lol! Bah Hahbah will always be one of our favs!

We’ve done 9 trips to Acadia since 2011. What fun! We stayed at the Narrows Too for every trip. Always on their best ocean site. You were there the best time of the year, after Labor Day Geddy's for pizza. It’s really good.

We really enjoyed this video. Brought back wonderful memories of a trip we took with friends we met through RVing. Sadly he passed away and we so miss our camping buddy! We would get up and load our kayaks and bikes get to the park early. We would kayak on one of the lakes or ponds and then get our bikes out and ride the carriage trails. We really want to go back again and take our e-bikes this time as those hills were challenging. The best pie in the area is Island Bound Treats on 302 Main St, Southwest Harbor, ME 04679. We were driving by and could smell the buttery homemade crust baking. I still think to this day it was the best store bought pie I have ever had. Thank you for the beautiful videos every week..we look so forward to your post! Your hard work does not go unnoticed. BTW---Mortons Moo is really that delicious! However, if you are still in the Lancaster area there is a place called September Farms that has the most amazing ice cream!

If you go back that way, where the V is in Ellsworth, go to the left and follow out to Winter Harbor. It has a part of Arcadia where you can go hiking. We were stationed on the Naval Base that was there in the mid to late nineties and loved it. Story goes that the base started on Bar Harbor side and when the millionaire families started building their summer homes they didn't want us there so bought the property across tge Bay and gave it to the government.

I grew up in Bar Harbor. It was my teen stomping grounds. So much more to it than you can see in one visit. You should have gone to Ben and Bill's in BH...way better than your first ice cream choice. Also...in Ellsworth, there is a place that sells cheesecake...24/7. Mo Mo's on Washington Junction Rd.

We were just not able to get Narrows Too during the holiday. If it were us, we would reserve Narrows Too over the others in the area as far as a Thousand Trails resort. 👍🏻😊🤓

Lol we almost did the same but wanted to get the NE/E coast seen for our first time. You’ll still get there, enjoy your current location so that you don’t feel regretful. America is beautiful and so much to see! We love the West ourselves and can’t wait to go back sometime.
