Testing has come a long way since March 1994. Now we know that positive anti-centromere antibodies is an indicator that you have Limited Systemic Scleroderma and positive SCL-70 antibodies indicates Diffuse Systemic Scleroderma. This is not 100% true, but it a first step in determining the type of systemic scleroderma you might have if diagnosed.
