Such a beautiful song, a timeless classic. Barbara has such an incredible voice. This quality of music, is generally missing, today.

I was 10 when this came out and I still remember it. I couldn't tell you what came out last week.....kids don't really have childhoods these days which is sad.

She really crossed folk into pop, very few before or since have managed that, the mamas and papas maybe, she can really project her voice. At the time it came through radio very effectively which is why I’ve remembered it. And great songs of course

This song STILL brings tears to my eyes. Barbara's voice just sends it over the moon. Can't stop listening to it all these years later...

A real mega star here, the beautiful and enigmatic Barbara Dickson, whose talent and music has stood the test of time so well ! A tremendous artiste and performer. Love the hair-do too! 😉. A hauntingly unusual terrific song.

Our No1 songstress from my own hometown of Dunfermline in Fife. Barbara is a legend hereabouts and as a young kid still remember sneaking down the little lane in Chalmers Street where I would listen to Barbara and her troop rehersing their latest songs. Little did I know she would become a top performer one day.

Her Scottish accent makes her voice so rich and clear. I'm mesmerised by how her lips move ! Just saying. So beautiful

Moving and brilliant. Timeless quality so lacking today. A star that earned it from hard work, time and of course talent. What s voice and a song that suits her perfectly. Perfection

I saw you play this in Chesterfield (back in 82????) Your drummer was an animal, with a double kick set up and he just did the rock n roll thing of 'banging the shit out of them' whilst performing!!!! Lovely memory!! xxxx The comedian who opened up was pretty funny too! Great night! You slayed it, too!

Mine too. I fear she has early stage dementia. I can see a time coming when I need this song and other Barbara Dickson ones to jog her memory about who I am - the "You Know It's Me" album was on all the time when I was little.

Mike Batt's work often gets a bad rap, so to speak, but this is just as beautiful live with Barbara's exquisite voice as it is on the vinyl recording I remember from years ago, from my Mum's small record collection.
