She really crossed folk into pop, very few before or since have managed that, the mamas and papas maybe, she can really project her voice. At the time it came through radio very effectively which is why I’ve remembered it. And great songs of course

Our No1 songstress from my own hometown of Dunfermline in Fife. Barbara is a legend hereabouts and as a young kid still remember sneaking down the little lane in Chalmers Street where I would listen to Barbara and her troop rehersing their latest songs. Little did I know she would become a top performer one day.

I saw you play this in Chesterfield (back in 82????) Your drummer was an animal, with a double kick set up and he just did the rock n roll thing of 'banging the shit out of them' whilst performing!!!!
