No. It’s because everyone is different and we all require our own food requirements. What works for one does not work exactly the same for everyone. It takes wisdom to find out what works best for that person which will be different for each person. Keto with OMAD works miracles for me but might not work at all for anyone else.

He doesn’t stress about diet because even if he eats 3000 calories, he is still going to burn it all in his next training session. Athletes train differently and they eat for fuel and recovery. Diet is still important for the average person who trains 1-hour three times a week to lose fat, build muscles or recomp

Try to eat 6-7k calories in a day eating just “clean” foods. I eat 3k and I feel like throwing up from fullness, and I weigh 230lbs. Most elite athletes have to eat “junk” just to get in the calories.

the terms are somewhat synonymous, mostly because of the variety of “skills” crossfit requires you to have. i would argue that the best crossfit athletes are the most well rounded athletes by far in any category (and i mean literally any) but of course they’re not going to be Usain Bolt or Michael Phelps, who specialize at one thing and one thing only. the other thing is based on what your definition of fitness is

With training let’s say he trains super intense for 6hours a day (he doesn’t) and burns 500kcal per hour thats. 3000 kcal. So optimally he is burning 7000kcal. That’s nowhere near 10k and I’m being super generous here.

Doesnt matter who you are, eating shit food in vast quantities will require some payback down the line, maybe 20 -30 years . Worn out joints,brain issues etc. It's easy to eat 6k cals eating moderate clean carbs and high amounts of fatty meat.

he tracks every gram of juice though. cant blame him they all are. fun fact, people who are later bounced for juicing lose constantly in the games. 7 day, all day grueling competitions. the guys and gals on test and mast would own day 4,5,6,7 against people not juicing. yet they dont. because they are all juicing, and the people on the top pay coaches that specialize in getting athletes to pass drug tests. just look at the women. they look like top physique pro body builders (that we know juice) all year long, doing hours of cardio a day AND GAIN MUSCLE MASS.

eyobin2 He doesn’t train like a CrossFitter year round. Neither did Frohning. You can’t get to that level of fitness through classic CF training with 2 strength work days a week mixed with a 15-30 min long metcon. Most of their training revolves around getting as strong as possible and skill work. Oxygenative conditioning can be increased within a few weeks, so they simply train CF metcons a few weeks before a competition. When you’re strong you move sub maximal weights easier already, then just add some conditioning work to it and bam! You’re set The big difference between them and us is their CP battery capacity. It can be trained to a certain extent, but much like neuromuscular efficiency it’s mostly a genetics thing.
