And for new barbers or barbers who wants all the fundamentals of barbering on lock get that foundations course. Literally the best investments I’ve made for my career.

Barbershops raising their prices was the reason I started cutting my own hair. I invested my time in learning and during the early days of the pandemic, I saw that it was the perfect time to finally practice since nothing was open at the time. Damn my barber school was 5k in 2016 and I was done and licensed in 1 year. Now they charge $6,500. That’s out here in SoCal and here at my shop we charge $30 for a haircut and $50 for haircut and beard trim

I went to Bellus Academy & it was 40k but with grants & f.a. it cut it in half.. 1500 hrs but they teach everything but not every teacher was great so its a hit or miss. Im in San Diego so it might differentiate.
