I have to say I’m very fortunate.... my parents own the building where I plan on moving in to after I finish my barber school.... and the spot that I plan on taking was a salon previously so it’s going to be set up nicely after their contract is up in December and I finish school in January

In regards to having a contract with your barbers speaking from experience it does hold up in court (at least here in California) you have to be very specific and have it all notarized.
@Bossiocuts4 жыл бұрын
What did you take a barber to court for?
@sciamachystandard36764 жыл бұрын
@@Bossiocuts In the contract a penalty was that he couldn’t work within a 20mile radius of the shop if he left before the contract expired. He broke it and it held up in court he had to cut hair in a whole other city. Don’t know how a financial penalty would work tho

@@sciamachystandard3676 yeah non compete is different.. 20 miles is crazy, wouldn’t hold up in Florida

Question to you, as a 21 year old, do you think this age is too late to start barbering? Like right now, I’m just cutting close friends for free understanding guards and everything. Is this too late?

If you overcharge customers then you can make 13 thousand dollars a month lol. Those kind of barbers charge customers for more than what they are paying for. A haircut can only be worth so much.
